What does Basic Mode do?
Basic Mode lets you start focus sessions that restrict distracting apps, categories, and websites using Apple's Screen Time tools.
Why does iOS ask for Screen Time access?
Apple requires permission before any app can apply Screen Time restrictions. Basic Mode uses this access only for restrictions you choose.
Can Basic Mode read my messages, photos, contacts, or location?
No. Basic Mode cannot read messages, photos, contacts, location, notification content, browsing history, or content inside other apps.
Why did an app disappear or show a blocked screen?
That is the selected restriction behavior. You can choose whether selected apps are hidden or kept visible behind a restricted screen.
How do I restore access?
Open Basic Mode, go to Settings, and tap Restore app access now. You can also end an active session from the main screen.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, select Basic Mode, then cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles App Store refunds. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

- Basic Mode is not medical treatment and does not diagnose or treat ADHD, addiction, anxiety, depression, or any health condition.
- Restriction and restore behavior depends on iOS Screen Time permissions and system state.
